Maximising purchasing power potential across Europe
IVU.locate* is a geographical information system (GIS) that any company can use to identify the optimum location for itself and its customers, thereby generating maximum purchasing power. The geomarketing tool analyses and evaluates locations or even entire networks by combining customer, market and corporate data in a huge data pool, and addressing all issues regarding transport connections, customer structure, purchasing power and even consumer habits and competitors in the catchment area. Using customised analysis methods and clearly-arranged displays of results, the IVU system helps companies to position their branches in lucrative locations.
The main challenge here is to deal with huge quantities of information in different formats and of differing quality, and to do so easily and quickly. Such tasks can be easily accomplished thanks to IVU.locate. With a web version of its tried-and-tested geomarketing systems IVU.locate, IVU is now offering its customers an easy-to-use alternative to the large-scale application. The software no longer has to be installed locally. Using their Web browsers, users now have direct access to the GIS services that were previously made available in the Intranet. With the Web version of IVU.locate, non-experts can now benefit from a handy analysis tool which can be specially adapted to the customer’s requirements thanks to the reduction in functions. The results of the analysis can be issued in all necessary languages, which means that the GIS services can easily be used anywhere across the globe.
