With IVU.geoservices, IVU allows its customers to use geodata safely and easily by Internet without violating licensing laws. The required geodata are requested via a Web portal and can be integrated in the company’s own IT landscape for analysis and evaluation, making the inconvenience and expense of purchasing complex data inventories a thing of the past. The sole requirement is that the customer must first of all register with IVU and obtain a license.

IVU.geoservices offers users a wide range of applications, from geocoding and address searches right up to routing and the integration of maps and aerial images. The selected geodata are immediately integrated in the customer’s application (IVU.locate, IVU.plan.timetable.map or IVU.fleet.map) via an encoded connection, and can then be used for further analyses and evaluations. Click models allow the usage of the IVU.geoservices to be fully adapted in line with customer requirements. In particular, companies which work with selected geodata benefit from the IVU.geoservices since they can submit much more specific requests for the data they require, and hence optimise their license costs.
