Changes to the Supervisory Board
With effect from the annual general meeting held on 24 May 2006, Dr. Heinrich Ganseforth has retired as a member of the Supervisory Board of IVU Traffic Technologies AG. André Neiß, Chair of the Management Board of üstra Hannoversche Verkehrsbetriebe AG and Chair of the Supervisory Board of intalliance AG, Hanover has been voted to succeed him as a new member of the Supervisory Board."We thank Dr. Ganseforth for the contribution he has made over the past two years on the Supervisory Board of IVU and welcome Mr Neiß in his new position", commented Dr. Olaf Schemczyk, Member of the Executive Board of IVU Traffic Technologies AG.
André Neiß was born on 21 July 1959 in Hamburg and studied business management at the School of Business and Politics in Hamburg. After graduation he began his career working for one of the major international auditing companies. From 1994 to 2002, André Neiß was Director of the Accounts and Finance Department at Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG), Berlin's public transport utility. Following this he was managing director of a consultancy firm in Berlin specialising in providing advice for companies in the transport sector. Since 1 September 2005, André Neiß has been Chair of the Management Board of üstra Hannoversche Verkehrsbetriebe AG as successor to Dr. Heinrich Ganseforth.
