The targets for 2016, adjusted in November last year, were consequently achieved and exceeded. With an expected EBIT of at least €3 million, IVU already aims to return to the healthy profit margins of previous years in 2017. In doing so, the consolidated revenue for 2017 is planned at around €62 million and gross profit at around €45 million.
Martin Müller-Elschner, CEO of IVU Traffic Technologies AG, said: “After several years in which the development of all key figures was consistently positive, the net profit unfortunately decreased in 2016. However, the simultaneous growth of revenue and gross profit, as well as our positive order situation, emphasise our strong market position and mean we are looking ahead with confidence.“
IVU has also profited from the digitalisation megatrend, as it is optimally equipped for this with its integrated solutions. With IVU.pad, a new, innovative product has been successfully positioned in the market. The tablet app is a reliable companion for drivers, customer service advisors and office-based staff. IVU.rail, the solution for the integrated planning and dispatch of railway vehicles and personnel, is another success story. In the past year many international railway companies have again opted for this system.
