Hello Paris relies on IVU.rail for planning the CDG Express

Berlin/Paris 31 July 2025 | The rail company Hello Paris - a subsidiary of Keolis and RATP Dev - will in future operate the CDG Express: the new, fast and comfortable connection between Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and the centre of Paris. The IVU.rail software solution from IVU Traffic Technologies AG will be used for planning vehicles and personnel.
From March 2027, Hello Paris will operate the CDG Express, a 20-minute direct connection between Paris Gare de l'Est and Charles de Gaulle Airport. Trains will then run every quarter of an hour between five in the morning and midnight, seven days a week, providing an additional connection to the airport. A customer-orientated service at the station and on board, as well as comfortable, barrier-free trains with toilets underline the high quality promise of CDG Express. Hello Paris relies on the IVU.rail software solution from IVU Traffic Technologies AG to schedule its vehicles. Support for the French TAP-TSI solution for coordinating the routes with network operator was a decisive factor in the selection of the software. Implementation began in May 2025 and should be completed by the spring of next year.
"To ensure high-quality, reliable operations, it was important to us that we use a market-proven IT system for the CDG Express," says Malcolm Urie, Operations Manager at Hello Paris. "With IVU.rail, we have found precisely the standard solution in keeping with our requirements and our infrastructure. We are already looking forward to the first journey in 2027."
" This project shows us once again that our standard software IVU.rail is also ideally suited for new operators on the market," says Oliver Grzegorski, Head of the Rail division at IVU Traffic Technologies. "We are proud that we can now also further expand our customer base in France."
