Record attendance at IVU User Forum 2023
Over 900 guests attend international industry convention in Berlin
Berlin, 27 March 2023 | Fascinating presentations, interactive user group meetings, and a wide range of workshops - the 35th IVU User Forum was held on 23 and 24 March 2023 at Deutsche Telekom’s Representative Office in the heart of Berlin. Over 900 guests from all over the world ensured a record attendance at IVU’s annual industry convention.
At this year’s User Forum, numerous national and international customers, guests, and partners of IVU took this unique opportunity to learn more about IVU’s latest developments and talk to other users. After three virtual events, the IVU User Forum 2023 once again took place live, at Deutsche Telekom’s Representative Office in the heart of Berlin. For the evening event, IVU invited its customers to the famous ‘An der Alten Försterei’ stadium, the home of Bundesliga team 1. FC Union Berlin.
This year, the User Forum once again offered a lively and diverse programme of events with numerous highlights. Frank Klingenhöfer, a member of the DB Regio Management Board, gave his fascinating keynote speech on the future of public transport, while IVU customers from all over the world shared their own personal success stories. Topics covered included train path management at SJ AB in Sweden, the deployment of electric buses in rural areas by the transport company Ludwigslust-Parchim mbH (VLP), and the optimised vehicle working schedules devised by SBB Cargo in Switzerland. Guests also had the opportunity to attend interactive user group meetings, a range of workshops, and the IVU exhibition in the atrium of Deutsche Telekom’s Representative Office in the capital.
