IVU at InnoTrans 2026: Shaping the mobility of tomorrow
Berlin, 20th August 2026 | InnoTrans 2026 – the leading international trade fair for transport technology – will take place in Berlin from 22 to 25 September. In hall 2.1 at stand 615 IVU Traffic Technologies will present the newest developments of their IT systems for buses and trains. Be it in planning, dispatch or the control centre: artificial intelligence is playing an ever-increasing role.
Artificial intelligence that thinks with you
IVU has added an integrated AI assistant to their products with IVU.scout. It has the ability to combine operational data from different divisions, detect relevant connections, and point out possible solutions. For example, teams can specifically make queries, despite many entities, and receive a summary of the differences between timetable versions. In this way, IVU.scout supports both new and experienced employees with complex tasks.
Efficient and intuitive: the next generation with <neo>
Under the umbrella of the new product generation <neo>, IVU presents applications that support public transport with new technologies and automated processes. This includes the planning tool IVU.plan [essentials] for getting started with digital planning, device management IVU.devices for the central management of vehicle technology, and account-based ticketing, travelling without registering or fare selection using a smartphone, credit card, bank card or chip card.
A control centre for personnel, vehicles and disruptions
The enhanced, integrated rail control centre from IVU.rail links disruption management with personnel and vehicle dispatch. It combines relevant information centrally and makes it available on a joint database. This helps dispatch managers keep an eye on ongoing operations and to access information and respond accordingly in the event of deviations.
Train path ordering with TEL TSI
With IVU.rail, railway companies order and manage train paths direct from planning, disposition and the control centre. The solution supports the new guideline of the TEL TSI for standardised digital data exchange in European rail transport. Companies transmit the necessary data via the IVU common interface to infrastructure managers such as DB InfraGO and SNCF Réseau. Train path ordering is completed within the integrated solution; additional systems are therefore not required.
