What we offer
We want our employees to be happy, which is why we offer not only open-ended employment contracts and a range of financial benefits to give our employees long-term peace of mind but also, through flexible working hours and career breaks, practical options for achieving the perfect work-life balance. Sporting activities as well as free drinks and vitamin-rich snacks help to ensure a healthy office life.
Individual opportunities to grow
We know that every person takes their own path through life and gathers their own set of experiences. We support all employees individually on their career path by organising annual evaluation sessions and regular meetings, which provide a space for discussing a whole range of matters such as the next career step.
Our buddy system
We offer all the support you need when you start out here at IVU. To make it easier for new employees to get used to their new working environment, we provide a buddy who, especially during the very early stages, will help you to get settled in and introduce you to the team and the world of IVU.
Open doors and flat hierarchies
IVU cultivates an open door culture. Employees can turn to their team or division managers or the management board itself if they have any questions, suggestions or concerns of any kind. Flat hierarchies help to promote togetherness and creativity, which is why we are committed to a culture of open discussion to ensure that the best ideas and arguments are heard.
Work is not everything. If you want to travel the world or build a house, a holiday is not enough for some private endeavours. To help you to expand your horizons even during your professional life, IVU allows you to take breaks of several months that can be financed by jointly agreed savings phases.
IVU promotes togetherness – through table tennis, for example. Our in-house leagues not only give employees the chance to get away from their desks and engage in a sporting activity, but are also a great opportunity for employees to meet people from different areas of the company. Of course, there is also an in-house league table and a trophy for the winner of the half-yearly season.
We all know that sitting for too long is unhealthy. So to help people avoid the common health traps of everyday office life, IVU promotes ‘active breaks’. External trainers visit the company once a week to not only demonstrate different exercises to help you stretch and relax your muscles while at your desk, but also provide important advice about how to stay active in our everyday lives.
We are firm believers in the importance of achieving a successful balance between work and family life, which is why all employees who are parents receive a monthly sum of €100 per child to help with childcare costs. We also offer up to five days’ paid extra holiday per year for looking after sick children.
