Presence on social media

IVU Traffic Technologies AG maintains online presences within social networks that are accessible to the public.

The respective social networks may process your user data for market research and advertising purposes. For example, usage profiles can be created based on usage behavior and the resulting interests. The usage profiles can in turn be used, for example, to place advertisements within and outside the networks that are presumed to correspond to the interests of the persons concerned. In addition, data can also be stored in the usage profiles independently of the devices used by the persons concerned (in particular if they are members of the respective platform and have logged in). Further details can be found in the respective terms of use and privacy policies of the social networks. In this context, we would like to point out that user data may be processed outside the European Union. This may result in risks for the persons concerned, as it could, for example, make it more difficult to enforce the rights of users. IVU has no influence on this and cannot prevent it.

For detailed information on the respective forms of processing and the options for objection (“opt-out”), we refer you to the privacy policies and information provided by the operators of the respective social networks. This also applies in the case of requests for information and the assertion of data subject rights. These can be most effectively asserted with the providers. Only the providers have access to all user data, can take appropriate measures directly, and provide information. If you still need help, please feel free to contact us.
