Berlin, 25 March 2020 | The novel coronavirus affects public and economic life worldwide. In order to stem the further spread of the virus, the authorities in many countries have imposed extensive measures. IVU has also called on its employees to avoid social contact wherever possible and to visit offices at all locations only when absolutely necessary.
We are still there for you!
Since we primarily develop and distribute digital products, most of our employees can work well from home, our cloud and the data lines have been working smoothly so far. And also in the cooperation with our national and international customers, the tools we have been using for a long time are proving their worth. This puts us in the fortunate position of being able to continue working relatively unhindered on our projects and product developments and to ensure support through the usual channels. We have reduced the attendance times of our reception to daily 8.00 to 15.00 hours.
We had to cancel this year’s User Forum in Berlin with a heavy heart, but we are now available remotely for our customers, both in ongoing projects and in the application of our IVU.suite in the current operating situation with many short-term changes in public transport services. If you have any questions of any kind, please get in touch with your usual contact person. If you are already thinking about future tasks: Talk to us, we will be happy to sit down with you – simply by telephone and in virtual meeting rooms.
This also applies to all applicants who are interested in a position at IVU: If you have received an invitation, we would be happy to conduct a video interview with you! Of course, you will have the opportunity to get an impression of us and our premises as soon as the situation allows.
IVU is well and robustly positioned, both technically and financially, with high liquidity, a good order backlog and rising recurring revenue. We therefore also expect positive business development in 2020 and currently do not anticipate any significant effects on IVU Traffic Technologies AG from the coronavirus. With our integrated standard products of the IVU.suite, the rapid introduction process with IVU.xpress and the services from the IVU.cloud, we are also well positioned for the coming years. We intend to hold our General Meeting on 28 May as planned, but as virtually as possible.
The current situation is unprecedented and challenges us, as society, company and fellow human beings. Our thanks therefore go first of all to all those who work hard to maintain everyday life even under difficult conditions, whether in a hospital, at the supermarket checkout or in the driver’s cab of a tram.
