We are looking for a Site Manager Software Development in Poland
In this position you will
- establish a new development location with us and be the first point of contact for our colleagues on site
- take on both a leadership role and the responsibility for the work and scaling of our future development team in Poland
- be the interface to our Berlin-based development teams
As Site Manager you will
- be responsible for the strategic and operational set-up of our site in Poland and ensure its operations run smoothly
- be the responsible contact person for professional, technical, and infrastructural topics
- plan development packages and get the right people to the right tasks
- shape the software development process, promote collaboration between teams, and get involved in the strategic direction of the development area
- support your employees’ professional development at IVU and give clear, constructive feedback
We are looking for colleagues
- who have experience in software engineering as well as in leading and scaling development teams, ideally Java/C++
- who have a technical and/or business background and have a degree in economics, computer science, physics, mathematics or a related subject, for example
- who have an entrepreneurial spirit
- who are proficient in German in business contexts, and are open to regular travel to Berlin
- who are open and collegiate, and can confidently juggle several things at the same time even in difficult situations
- who are particularly interested in a workplace that offers independent action and collaboration with open-minded and intelligent people
